Dave Harris’ Tambo & Bones has received three nominations at this year’s Black British Theatre Awards, following its run at Theatre Royal Stratford East this summer!
Tambo & Bones was commended in the 2019 Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting, and first performed in a 2022 co-production between Playwrights Horizons New York City and Center Theatre Group Los Angeles – going on to feature on Time Out New York’s ’30 best Off Broadway shows to see in Spring 2022′ list! Tambo & Bones’ UK premiere, presented by Theatre Royal Stratford East and Actors Touring Company, received rave reviews and was described as “unique, challenging and oh-so necessary” by The Guardian.
Matthew Xia has been nominated for Best Director, Kloe Dean has been nominated for Best Movement Director, with the entire production nominated for the Best Production – Play Award.
Congratulations to the entire company and best of luck to all involved!
