Katherine is a Welsh playwright. Her last play Before It Rains was produced in 2012 by Bristol Old Vic and Sherman Cymru. The play went on to win the Writers Guild Playwright award at the Theatre Critics of Wales Awards and was a finalist for the 2013 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize. In the Autumn of 2012, Katherine was delighted to win the BBC and National Theatre Wales inaugural Wales Drama Award. Her new play Parallel Lines opened last night (21 November), produced by Dirty Protest. Silly Kings, Katherine’s adaptation of Terry Jones’ book of Fairy tales is being produced in Cardiff Castle by National Theatre Wales, Christmas 2013. Katherine’s debut film Tag is currently in production and will be shown on BBC3 and iplayer in January 2013.
