A massive congratulations to Martha Loader, winner of the Judges Prize at the Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting 2022, who has been nominated as Best Writer at the The Stage Debut Awards 2024!

Loader has been nominated in recognition of her Bruntwood Prize-winning play Bindweed, which premiered earlier this year in a co-production between the Mercury Theatre Colchester, New Wolsey and Hightide, in association with the Royal Exchange Theatre. The production received multiple 5 star views, with the play being described as ‘a modern-day classic.’
